Eddie Shifflet

Eddie hails from the small town of Prince Frederick, Maryland where he first became involved with his school choir, jazz band, marching band and of course, his first Thrash Metal band, Maelstrom. At age 17 he left to begin studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Eddie started with lessons under Neo-Classical virtuoso Joe Stump while working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business & Management. Throughout his years at Berklee, Eddie served as lead guitarist for Modern-Hard Rock band Chirality, touring the east coast and building booking/promotion experience. Also during his time at Berklee, he held the position of Promotions Assistant/Photographer for the Berklee Performance Center. Including Queen Boudicca: A Metal Opera, Eddie is currently lead guitarist for Symphonic Death Metal band, Vivisepulture, and continues to collaborate with prominent artists in the Metal community. Eddie would like to thank his parents, sister, and family for their undying support and all friends in the opera for making this a great experience!
