Sara Jackson

Columbia, South Carolina native Sara Jackson is a classically trained soprano and private voice teacher located in Boston. Sara is currently in the second year of her Master of Music in Voice Performance degree at the Boston Conservatory. Sara previously studied voice at the graduate level at the University of Redlands in California, where she taught voice lessons at the university’s Community School of Music and the Arts. She also led an elementary school glee club and group voice classes in Santa Anna with the Arts & Learning Conservatory. She performed with Redlands Opera Theatre and Redlands Opera Workshop, and participated in Songfest 2014 at the Colburn School in LA on scholarship.

Sara received her bachelor’s degree in music and minor in theatre at the University of South Carolina. In Columbia, Sara worked as a church soloist and performed professionally with Columbia Children’s Theatre.

Sara has also performed internationally with USC’s Concert Choir in their tour of Spain and as a solo performer in the Orfeo Music Festival in Vipiteno, Italy. In July, Sara will participate in the Contemporary Commercial Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah Conservatory.
