Haydee Irizarry

Haydee Irizarry is a multi-talented vocalist and instrumentalist that is best known for her dark and rich mezzo soprano voice and her ability to mold to many genres. She currently studies Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music as a scholarship student and is the front-woman of an Extreme Metal band named Aversed. Her personal compositional style is influenced by Metal, R&B, World Music, and Classical music, which will be showcased on her first solo EP release in the year of 2017.

Haydee has been writing, performing, and studying music since the age of 4 when she first played and fell in love with the piano.  Since then she has worked passionately with Classical repertoire, was a scholarship student and an All Star at the Chicago School of Rock, worked as a recording artist and songwriter at the Steel Bridge Song Fest in Wisconsin, and has pursued her own career as a performer and producer upon entering Berklee. Haydee has had the honor of playing venues such as Lollapalooza, SummerFest, Taste of Chicago, and the House of Blues and performing with artists such as Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown) and Earl Slick (David Bowie).

She currently studies classical vocals with Carrie Cheron and continues to develop her compositional skills on piano and electric guitar. Her character is strong, unique, and passionate and it shows through her determination to be a professional musician in both skill and mindset. Outside of music, she enjoys nature, a good comedy, being creative, and relaxing with loved ones.
